In this project we will carry out the two tests that will indicate whether the diode to be measured is in a good or bad state.

Step 2: FUNCTIONING

Inside a damaged electronic board, we find different electronic components and to determine some of the faults we have developed this PCB that will allow us to know if a diode is in bad or good condition depending on the two tests: the direct test and the reverse test. . We can also do it with a digital multimeter on the diode scale to verify if it is right or wrong for this in the direct test it will mark a number on the diode scale but in the reverse test it will not mark anything.



Step 3: DIRECT TEST WITH DIGITAL MULTIMETER

Step 5: LED DIODE TEST

But for those who do not have this facility or knowledge, develop a pcb that will allow us to do those two tests and will give us a measurement or reading and/or visualization of the diode in which state it is, for the measurement of led diodes in the direct test will turn on the led diode and the reverse test will not turn on.


Step 6: SEMICONDUCTOR DIODE TEST

For the measurement of semiconductor diodes or SOCTKY diodes, there is an indicator LED that will show the state of the diode to be measured, so for the direct test it will turn on the blue LED diode and the reverse test will not turn on, so it will give us the result that the diode to measure It is in good condition.
