Introduction: DIY Batman Tissue Box Under 3 Minutes!

About: I'm a 21st-century human making spectacular, amazing and creative things.

One of the most important things you'll need, especially while traveling, is the classic tissue. Commercially available tissue boxes are quite big in size, occupying more space. So I thought why not make a small and a portable tissue holder that we could carry anywhere we go and can also fit in a small space. And wolla! I created a tissue box that you can make it yourself with everyday objects within 5 minutes!

Step 1: Making the Tissue Box Itself

To make the holder, I made use of a used cocoa powder container, which I just finished ;). Next up you need to make a hole large enough in order to pull the tissue out when you need it. To make a hole you need to first draw the outline of the hole to be cut.

You can cut the hole in two convenient ways:

1. Use a cutter.

2. Heat the tip of a knife until it gets hot. Then use that tip to cut the hole in the plastic lid. This is more convenient than using a cutter.

Step 2: Arranging the Tissues

I used standard sized tissues which are normally available in the supermarkets. First, I cut them into 3 equal parts. Then arrange them in the following order,

1. Place a tissue.

2. Place another piece on top of it.

3. Overlap the first piece of tissue over the other.

4. Place another piece and continue in the same way until you decide that it's enough.

Step 3: Placing the Tissue in the Box

After you've arranged the tissues, roll the whole bunch keeping the last piece out. Then place it inside the box. And that's it! You've created your own tiny tissue box. This might really useful in children's parties and also while traveling. But make sure you've got enough tissues in stock with you :D.
