Introduction: DIY CARDBOARD LIGHT

Hey... Welcome back again to my DIY. Today, I make special DIY for you. That is DIY CARDBOARD LIGHT. You can use this DIY when you sleep in your bedroom and you just have turn on the light. Maybe this DIY will be useful when HALOWEEN COMING. So you can add some pumpkin and place it beside the cardboard light. It's very easy to make because the materials is very easy to find. So what are you waiting for... LET'S MAKE IT!!!

Step 1: Materials

Prepare all the materials. You need :

1. Cardboard

2. Acrylic Paint/ other paint

3. Ruler

4. Scissor

5. Glue

6. Pencil

7. Cutter

8. Solar charger

Step 2:

Open the side of the box (i use the right side of the box) like picture 1 and 2. After that, cut the side which it be open like picture 3 and 4.

Step 3:

Glue the all other side of the box that your not cut it. Make sure that it closely attached.

Step 4:

Before continue the next step, you can try to put the solar light into the box and turn on the light. If it's working like the picture above, we can continue. So, the next step. Make some pattern in the side of the box with pencil. For the pattern, I make the straight pattern. But, you can make stars, polkadot or love pattern. Oh.. Maybe you can make pumpkin pattern. Whatever you want it.

Step 5:

I finish make the pattern and I cut it with cutter. For the good result, I recommendation to make hole with cutter and cut it with scissor. I make the pattern in 2 side. If you make a good pattern, the shadow from the light will be good too.

Step 6:

This is my favorite step, COLORING. For coloring you can use Acrylic Paint or other paint. I use Poster Color. For the color, I think you have to choose a bright color so the light will be visible (I use the yellow color). If you finish color the cardboard, place it in outside and wait until dry. I waited for 10 minutes.

Step 7:

And this is the result. Yeahh.. It finished. Now you can put the solar light inside the cardboard and place the cardboard to dark place or your bedroom. Now you will see it the shadow on the wall and I think it's very beautiful and so cool. Thank you guys for see my Instructables. I hope you likes my Instructable and vote me.
