Ever wanted to make a nice album for displaying your amazing photos ?? If yes then look no further because I'm gonna show you how to make a photo album that is compact and nostalgic too. You can make many such albums and stack it on to a rack which will be amazing for visitors to checkout.

In this Instructable, you will see how to craft a photo album that looks like an old school camera film. So let's get started.

This can also be a perfect gift for your loved one !!

Step 1: The Inventory

For this piece of craft work, you'll need to have the following in your inventory:

  • Crafting Paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Photos

That's all you need, so let's get crafting.

Step 2: Make the Frame

First you'll need to make the base frame that looks like an old school camera roll. First cut out two circles of equal size.
Next cut a rectangular piece of crafting paper and make it into a cylinder and glue the edges.

Place the cylindrical tube exactly in the center of the two circles and glue it into position.

Once this is dried, the base frame is ready.

Step 3: The Roll

The basic idea is that the photos will roll out of the entire thing like toilet paper coming out of the roll. So now that we have the base frame, it's time to make the roll on which your photos will be stuck.

For this take rectangular strips whose width is a little less than that taken in the previous one. Join multiple strips together to form a single long strip of paper.

Step 4: Roll on Frame

If you've made it so far, then you already have the roll and the frame ready. Now carefully take one end of the roll strip and apply glue on to it. Now, stick this end on the frame as shown in the picture above.

After the glue dries, rotate the frame such that the rectangular strip coils into itself. Now all that's left is to add photos to the album.

Step 5: On Goes the Photos

Now that the roll is complete, go ahead and add some cool photos to the album by sticking them on the roll.

The best part is, if there's no space left on the roll, you can always expand it by sticking more strips of crafting paper at the end using some more glue !!

You can decorate it the way you like . Get creative and let me know what you end up with.

Go ahead and have fun while making this simple photo album.
