Coasters made from spare laminate flooring

Step 1: Cutting and Routing

unfortunately I only realised I was gonna make an instructable after finishing this project.

I cut 5 pieces of laminate flooring at 10cm square.

I then used a router with a roundover bit installed to round the top and bottom off all the pieces.

Step 2: Routing

It was at this point I realised I had set the depth wrong on the chamfer bit as it cut a line into the coaster all the way around, but I think it adds character so I went with it.

Step 3: Holder

I used one of the 5 cuts to make a holder for the coasters, I used a straight bit in the router to cut 4 daedos at equal distances from the back of the piece.

Step 4: Finishing Touch

I lined all 4 daedos and the backs of the coasters with felt so they don't scratch the table.

I think they turned out alright. Any questions let me know as it's my first instructable so not great at explaining what I've done.
