Introduction: DIY Drill Guide
Hello~Friends
I made a drill guide a few weeks ago.
It can be horizontal drilling and vertical drilling, but also can be a mini disk sander.
Easy to make and useful.
I will show you how I make it.
My English is poor, Maybe watching the video will be more clear :)
Supplies
No need for a bearing, cylinder rail, or any expensive hardware.
Just only plywood.
Tools:
- Hole saw bit
- Table saw
- Router + dovetail router bit
- Epoxy putty
- Sandpaper
Step 1: Make the Adapter
- cut all plywood
- Drill a hole that can hold the driller
- the top plywood is the slider, sand it with sandpaper #400 or more to make it smooth
Step 2: Make the Guide
- Combine all parts.
- Make sure the slider will be slid smoothly, if too tight, adjust the screws.
Step 3: Adjust to Square
adjust to 90 degrees and use epoxy putty to fix it
Step 4: Test
try out anything you want
Step 5: Make It Multi-Function
- Attach a disk and sandpaper
- Make the trigger can push without a finger
