Introduction: DIY Harry Potter Book Handbag

About: Hi everyone, my name is Cynthia, I am a craftnerd and I run the Youtube channel CraftGyver, where I post crafting and sewing videos. Fell free to come have a look and say hi ^_^
Don't throw away your old books, make them into something new and awesome. I will show you how to transform an Harry Potter book into a simple  handbag.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          For the materials you will need:  A book with hardback covers, 2 fabrics: 1 for the exterior and 1 for the lining, A pair of plastic handles or you can make them yourself, A hot glue gun and  glue  sticks. Fuse or fusing: you don't have to, but I recommend it if you want your bag to be strong.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     For the pattern: Body Piece: Cut 2x 27.2 by 17.2cm squares from the exterior fabric and cut 2 more squares from the lining fabric. Cut fuse or fusing to your liking. Handle Ties: Cut 2x 17 by 4.5cm rectangles from the exterior fabric.                                                                               I didn't put any closures on this bag since the video is already long enough, I will be covering different bag closures in another video
