Step 1: Building the Main Frame

To begin, you will need a strong frame for your chair.

Use the above diagram to establish the parts you'll need for this step.

Once you've got all your materials, begin by assembling the frame.

In this step, it could be simpler to place each piece flat on a surface and connect them at right angles. For example, build the chair's back frame first, followed by each of its sides. Afterwards, you can raise the rear frame upright to affix a side frame.

Step 2: Building the Side Supports

Now it's time to build the seat rest and lateral supports.

Since these need to be secured to the chair's frame, a practical approach would be to flip the chair frame upside down or onto its side. This will ensure stability and make the attachment process more accessible.

Alternatively, you can make each "module" (the seat and each side), and then install them as parts of the whole.

Step 3: Building the Complementary Supports

You’re almost there!

Now onto the complementary support options.

Before attaching them, ensure to measure and indicate the precise heights at which your horizontal side supports will be positioned.

Next, incorporate the small 4x4 block into the lower section of your chair frame.

You’re done!
