DIY: Origami Royal Starship

Origami Royal Starship from the StarWars movie series

Step 1: Lets Begin

Materials

All you will need for this project is a square piece of paper

First take your paper and fold it in half so that it forms a triangle. next take a tip from the bottom of the triangle. Fold it up as shown in the picture. Leave about a 3/4 of an inch between the fold and the top edge of the triangle. Turn your paper on its side. Take one of the corners from the top or bottom and fold it towards the middle. Stop the fold a little bit passed the half way line. Then repeat with the other end

Step 2: Folding Contined

Next fold edge A over to the middle line. Crease well using your finger nail. Also make sure you dont pass the middle line because that will affect future instructions

Step 3: More Folding...

Now take Corner X from the last step and fold it back as far as it will go. It should stop when it reaches the crease directly behind it. Check the picture to make sure you have done it correctly. Repeat all steps to the other side so that is looks identical

Step 4: Even More Folding

After that, fold the entire plane in half. Take edge Z as specified in the first picture and move it down to edge Y. That will create the first wing. Flip over the aircraft and make an identical wing on the other end.

Step 5: Almost Done

At the end of the wings it should come to a point. Take those point and fold them in about half an inch. Do that on both wings

Step 6: Finished
