HOW TO MAKE 26000 MAH POWER BANK ?

HERE I WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO CREATE 26000 MAH POWER BANK FOR YOUR SMARTPHONE ATE HOME FOR VERY CHEAP.

+WHY ?

Because it is the cheapest way to get

+WHEN ?

when you want to charge your phone anywhere & any-time .

Step 1: REQUIREMENTS

-12... (18650) CELLS 2200 MAH EACH.(from 2-4 old dead laptop batteries from laptop repair shop) about 4-5$

-A EMPTY ROOM FRESHENER BOTTLE. free

-A CAR CHARGER. about 3$

-SOME WIRES. free

-MALE & FEMALE DC CONNECTORS(CCTV ARE CHEAP AND BEST). less then 1$

Step 2: GET THE CELLS OUT FROM DEAD BATTERIES

BUY OR HARVEST 12 GOOD (18650) LAPTOP CELLS FROM OLD DEAD BATTERIES

USE SOME TOOLS TO OPEN THE BATTERY BOX WITHOUT DAMAGING BATTERIES

1 laptop batteries contains 6 cells but all are not good you have find the good ones by voltage check or capacity test of each 18650 cells

(for harvesting watch my videos ON YOUTUBE = WAQAR ALAM )

Step 3: JOIN OR SOLDER 4-4 CELLS IN PARALLEL CONNECTION

AFTER FINDING THE 12 GOOD CELLS

JOIN WITH WIRES OR SOLDER 4 CELLS IN PARALLEL CONNECTION AND MAKE 3 GROUPS (3*1 group of 4 cells in parallel)

Step 4: JOIN 3 GROUPS IN SERIES CONNECTION

NOW CONNECT 3 GROUPS (4-4 CELLS EACH) IN SERIES CONNECTION .

(it will show 9-12 volts after connecting)

Step 5: CONNECT NEGATIVE WIRE

CONNECT LONG WIRE TO NEGATIVE END OF BATTERY PACK USE BLUE OR BLACK WIRE

Step 6: TAPE THE FULL PACK TIGHTLY

JUST TAPE THE FULL PACK TIGHTLY BY PUTTING NEGATIVE WIRE INSIDE

Step 7: USE SOME DESIGNER TAPE

TAPE TIGHTLY AND MAKE IT LIKE ROD SHAPE

I AM USING A DESIGNER TAPE IT WILL LOOK GOOD WITH THIS

Step 8: TAKE OUT ROOM FRESHNER BOTTLE

GET YOUR ROOM FRESHENER BOTTLE AND CUT OPEN ITS UPPER PART

PLEASE SMOOTH THE EDGES AFTER CUTTING FOR SAFETY.

Step 9: PUT THE BATTERY INSIDE BOTTLE

JUST PUT THE BATTERY PACK INSIDE BOTTLE FACING POSITIVE POINT UPWARD

AND ATTACH RED WIRE TO THE POSITIVE TERMINAL OF BATTERY PACK.

Step 10: CONNECT DC CONNECTORS

JUST CONNECT DC MALE CONNECTOR TO THE BATTERY PACK

AND FEMALE CONNECTOR TO THE CAR CHARGER

IMPORTANT:

please make sure to connect positive to positive and negative to negative

use multimeter to double check the connection

Step 11: FINALLY CONNECT

JUST CONNECT USB CABLE TO CAR CHARGER

AND CONNECT THE CAR CHARGER TO THE BATTERY PACK.

ENJOY CHARGING.

THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION IS THIS

i just use imax b6 ac charger to charge this power bank

BUT I FOUND THE CHEAPEST WAY TO CHARGE

YOU JUST NEED A 12 VOLT POWER ADAPTOR OF OLD WIFI ROUTER OR ANY OTHER

+ HOW TO CHARGE WITH ADAPTOR ?

just unplug car charger from power bank and connect the adaptor to battery pack you are done

but don't charge for more than 3 hours

and just keep checking voltage while charging until it reaches 12 volt .

can we use 26650 batteries without using 18650

Putting recycled 18650 cells in series and charging them without current balancing circuit WILL result in fire and/or explosion.

Where are the vent holes in case the batteries discharge on you?

if you drill a few small holes in the bottom it would direct the discharge so you dont have a bomb....

You just need to get the appropriate car charger
In this tutorial I am using belkin car charger which gives 5 volt 1 amp and 5 volt 2amp.(1amp for normal SMARTPHONES and 2 amp for fast charging devices like Apple)

Yes .thanks for asking how to charge the power bank ?
Answer= you need to charge power bank with 12 volt &1 or 2or 3 amps

The most easy 12 volt charger are power supply for wifi router etc.. They also comes with DC connector . (no need to do anything just connect to the power bank directly )
