Introduction: DIY Quilled Paper Necklace

This cool DIY Quilled Paper Necklace is a great accessory for any day.
So... Let's start to make it!

Step 1: Supplies

Things you will need:

- Colored Paper
-Glue Stick
-Scissors
-Necklace Chain
-Paper Mod Podge
-An Old Paintbrush

Step 2: Cutting and Rolling the Paper

The next step is to cut strips of the paper.
I used multiple colors of paper, but in the picture in the last step I showed three colors of paper.
When you are cutting the strips of the paper, you want to cut a lot of strips.

Now it's time to roll the paper. Get 3 strips of paper, and use the glue to glue them together to make one long strip.

Start rolling it tightly. Then stop rolling the paper when there is about an inch left to roll. Use the glue stick to put glue on the extra paper and then glue the circle  together.

Hold the circle so the glue sticks and dries.

Step 3: Making More Circles

Keep creating circles out of the colored paper. Make as many as you want to be in your necklace.

I made 7 circles for my necklace. Now it is time to make the circle with a hole in it so the necklace can loop through it.
Cut out 2 more strips of paper and glue them together. Then wrap it around your pinky finger and glue the end down and simply slide it off your pinky.

Step 4: Using the Mod Podge

Glue the circles together with the paper Mod Podge and let dry completely.
Then glue on the circle that we made so the necklace can loop through... make sure its sideways so the necklace can loop through.

Let the Mod Podge dry completely before doing a second coat on the whole necklace pendant.

Lastly, put the necklace chain through the circle on the top and wear your brand new homemade necklace with a smile!

Enjoy!
