Silly question, can you get cut using the mirror once it is finished? I would love to make a pair, but am curious if I have to handle with care afterwards?

These look great! I tried this once, cut up my hands and never finished them. I used broken glass from my car for the platform-y part, it actually looked pretty cool, but was hard to handle and my mirrored part wasn't that great...They didn't look nearly as good as these ones :) I may have to try again!

Thanks! They looked like crap when I first started but after you get a nice portion of it finished then you can see the potential. LOL. Sorry that you got all cut up but I'm glad that you left this comment because I JUST finished a pair last night for my niece. I used the "plastic mirror" that I ordered from Joann Fabric. It's $3.99 and I just cut it up with scissors, it's totally safe and it looks really good!!! I'll try to post the video on here too but it'll be on my YT iDionce this weekend. That would be perfect for you and your hands. LOL

hi! love the shoes. I was wondering why you suggest loose or a half size shoe bigger?

Hi! Sorry for the delay. I would definitely recommend at least a really loose shoe. The glue really tightens the shoe up BUT it does loosen with wears.
