Turn your DIY Thirsty Plant Box into a handy plant pot with a little bit of time and tape.

Step 1:

You will need:

  • DIY Thirsty Plant Box
  • Washi tape/stickers
  • Medium plastic food bag
  • Scissors
  • Double sided tape (optional)

Step 2:

Open up your DIY Thirsty Plant box.

Step 3:

Cut off the top two flaps and the side flap (marked with squares) and the cut two slits ( marked with white arrows).

Step 4:

Fold the bottom into shape.

Step 5:

Fold the sides in to form a heart shape.

Step 6:

Slot the bottom flap in to secure.

Step 7:

Decorate the pot with washi tape or stickers.

Step 8:

Trim off the excess card at the bottom.

Step 9:

Secure the bottom with tape.

Step 10:

Push the food bag inside the pot. We have secured the edge of the bag with double sided sticky tape to make it neater.

Step 11:

Fill with soil and get planting!
