Tools and Materials:

Sterling silver, Water, Hammer, Texture hammer, Scissors, Lighter, Saponification solution, Enamel powder, Kiln – heating, Tweezers, Enamel sieve, Earring accessories

Step 1: Design& Trimming

Draw a mark on the silver piece, and clip the marking line along the silver piece with the scissors.

Step 2: Trimming the Second Silver Piece

According to the size of the silver trimmed in the previous step, draw a mark(a little bigger than first silver piece) on the silver piece, and clip the marking line along the silver piece with the scissors.

Step 3: Softening

Heat the silver piece to soften it and cool it with cold water to prevent burns.

Step 4: Textures Making

Choose the texture hammer you want, hammer on the silver piece to leave the beautiful textures.

Step 6: Drilling &Edges Polishing

At the top of the silver piece (total 4pieces), a small hole will be drilled with a hammer drill. Then we use the scissors to trim the silver piece, because the cutting position is relatively sharp and we will use tools to make it smooth.

Step 7: Oxidization and Blacking

Heat up the liquid soap and boil the silver pendant inside the liquid soap till it is blackened. Then we will take the silver pendant out of the liquid soap and use sandpaper to process polishing.

Step 8: Making Enamel Earrings

Put the brass piece on the tweezers and then put some enamel powder into the powder sieve. The powder sieve will be above the brass and we will slightly pour out the powder to make sure the enamel powder is evenly fallen onto the brass.

Step 9: Baked

Baking: Put the brass piece onto the baking rack and then slightly put it into the oven. The temperature will be set as 200℃ and bake it for 1 minutes.

Step 10: Combination

Assemble the earring hook and silver earring pendant.

Step 11: Completed!!
