Introduction: DIY Unisex Jacket
I realised I had never made myself a jacket before. Either I borrow my boyfriend's or my brothers, so I figured it was time to bite the bullet and make myself one. I think it came out pretty good though, considering there is no lining. I chopped off a chunk of my thumb the night before making the video so I really didn't want to traumatize it any further than I was doing already. Anyways, hope you like and if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask me !
The jacket ended up looking better on my bf than it did on me ....So now I have to make myself a new one lol
Step 1: What You Will Need
2+ yards fabric for the shell of the fabric
1/2 yard + if you are adding extra panels
1/4 yard ribbed/ jersey fabric for the collar and cuffs
1/4 yard cotton fabric for the pocket bags
paper/ fabric scissors
pattern paper
pins
tape
awesome sauce
That's everything you need for the jacket !
Step 2: Watch the Video
All of the instructions are in the video, hope it helps and ignore my ever changing bandaged thumb. Trying to pin with an overly bandaged thumb is a no no.
Thanks for watching, let me know if you like !
