Once I saw this wire wrapped dragonfly on Pinterest. I can’t wait to make this simple but adorable wire wrapped dragonfly by myself. It's super easy and funny to follow!

Step 1:

1MM Copper Wire

Wood Beads

Pliers set

Step 2: Make Body for the Wire Wrapped Dragonfly

1st, cut off about 50cm 1mm copper wire, bend it in half and pinch the bend with a flat nose pliers;

2nd, wrap the bent wire to form the shape as picture shows, this is the body of the wire wrapped dragonfly.

Step 3: Make Wings for the Wire Wrapped Dragonfly

1st, bend the wire clockwise to form a loop as picture shows, and place the wire under the body wire;

2nd, bend the wire anticlockwise to form a loop as picture shows, and place the wire over the previous wires; now, you’ve got a pair of bottom wings;

3rd, continue to bend the wires to make the other pair of wings in the same method, notice that this pair of wings is bigger than the bottom one.

Step 4: Finish the Wire Wrapped Dragonfly

1st, use the wire to coil the part where all wings join two times;

2nd, retain 3cm wires and cut off the extra wires, slide a wood bead onto both wires as its head;

3rd, coil several turns at ends of both wires, these are the antennas of the wire wrapped dragonfly.
