Introduction: DIY Workbench Vise

I tried to make a simple wooden visa for my workbench.

Supplies

I used :

  • Two simple blocks of wood.
  • Two Metal screw bars
  • Two nuts.
  • A Drill.
  • Sander.
  • Wood stain.

Step 1: Drill 1st Piece of Wood

  • I brought 2 pieces of used wood.
  • Two holes were drill in one of the pieces to cross the two columns through which they were screwed.

Step 2: Drill 2nd Piece of Wood

  • A cavity was made in the other piece at the same level to place the two nuts in it
  • The back piece is fixed with another piece of wood to form a base for fixing to the table

Step 3: Stain the Wood

  • Sand the wood before stained with a dark colour

Step 4: Fix on Bench

I fix it on my bench and try it ... it is OK
