Introduction: DNA Helix Paracord Key Fob

About: I'm a man with a plan and a craft box.

Being a paracord user, you have undoubtedly seen enough key fobs to make you sick...
They are all useful and interesting, but it's time for something new.
Time to make a Helix Paracord Fob.

Here is what you will need.

Paracord (Obviously)
A key ring (Optional)

If you know how to make a simple paracord bracelet you can save yourself some time and just keep doing the same knot over again without alternation.

Step 1: The Knot.

To make it easier to follow, I've used two different colors of paracord, you can do the same to make interesting designs, or a single color.

Find the center of your para cord strand and fold at that point. from there, pick a spot down so that the folded point and the spot you pick on the cor represents how long you want the fob to be. Then, using the two loose ends begin to tie the knot in the picture.

Step 2: Continuing the Knot

Continue doing the same knot all the way down,  seriously, that's it...

Step 3: Done...

After you've reached the point you want, cut off the excess cordage and burn the ends. Then you can attach the key ring.
Enjoy!
