DS Lite to Gameboy
Intro: DS Lite to Gameboy
Has your top screen of your ds lite broke well don't fret because I have an tutorial on how to turn it into a new Gameboy!
STEP 1: Step 1:
First you must remove all the rubbers front and behind of your broken ds then you must open the screws. You will need a tri-wing screwdiver to open them, once opened you will need to remove the broken top screen of the ds and throw that away.
STEP 2: Step 2:
If your DS just flickers and turns off then you might have to bridge solder these to points.
STEP 3: Finishing Touches
After you have done that you must enclose the ds and screw in all of the screws, make sure it's tight and then there you have it! Your very own SSGBA! (SINGLE screen game boy advance)

The DS fat and DS Lite both are able to be modded like this but you will need a resistor from tests.

To the people that want to try this. I have read a few people saying just bridging the connection and they sware it works, in every type of DS and DS Lite I tried this does not work it might be a FW thing when it checks the screen, I have tried resistors low as 160 and they seem to work, I can't state how long it will work for but this did work for me, I also didn't solder mine I want to be able to return the device back to stock if I get bord or need it for testing later so I used a glue gun and made the resistor in to a fork like point so it would hold its own weight and eletic taped the other side.
This mod is greate for units where the touch screen is out and the top screen has died.
