Introduction: Dalek Costume!
Here are the very few photos I took of my Dalek costume for Halloween 2008. I also (despite my intentions) mostly failed to document the build process. Anyway, the ears blink when you talk, which I think is pretty awesome.

i would've used a beater from an electric beater instead of the plunger. and yes, you really need a voice changer(: also, you could've used one of those reflective cone things that they put around construction sites on the road for the body. that's just what i would've done. looks great, though(:

It does have some sort of beater/whisk to represent the lightning gun.

Not all Daleks had "plungers". If you pay attention to the early serials and movies, the plunger was often replaced with a task-specific device, whilst the left-hand lightning gun (or CO2 in the movies) was universal. If you look closely at the original photo which was subject of your comment, both items are adequately represented, although the lightning gun does take some concentration to identify.

Very very cool. Did you by any chance have a voice changer put in, to do the robot voice? Can't say exterminate without the voice...haha

Treatment for a Dalek voice is a little more than a voice changer. It has to be fed through a filter to cut out all the high and low frequencies (almost like a telephone) and then passed through a ring-demodulator at 30Hz. The person speaking also needs to sound either extremely arrogant and over-confident (like a used-car salesman), or completely insecure and paranoid (like a politician who got sprung).
Either way, it's a great representation for a party. Much prefer the originals to the remakes.

put a vacum in the plunger so you can sucker people to death lol thats fro the series
