it is a simple and powerful concept , which uses transistor ( BC 547 NPN) as a switch to switch ON and OFF the street light system automatically .So basically it detects the presence of light or darkness. The main component used in this circuit is LDR which detects light

Step 1: Circuit Diagram

connect the circuit according to circuit diagram shown above.and further connect it with a 6v/9v battery.

  2. LDR
  3. R1=1K
  4. R2=300 OHM
  5. R3=330 OHM
  6. LED
  7. 9V BATTERY
  8. JUMPER WIRES
  9. MINI BREAD BOARD
