I present you an easy tutorial to make a decorative belt.

Step 1: Materials List

Furnitures :

-pliers (flat pliers and cutting pliers)

-Scissors

-Electric Iron

-Rule

-Pencil -Sewing machine

-Needle pin

-Needle

-Yarn

-0.50m of Metal chain

-Velvet (a piece of 0.08 x 0.70m)

-1 carabiner

-4 metal rings

-1 big charm

-5 charms

-12 junction ring

Step 2: Cut the Belt

At first measure your waistline or your hip measurement to know the desired belt length. The belt width is according to your taste.

For me i took my waistline measurement: 74cm For the belt width i chose 3cm

So I have to cut a piece of 76cm x 8cm

-74cm (+2cm seam allowance) x 6cm (3cm front and 3cm back + 2cm seam allowance).

Step 3: Sew the Belt

Now you have your belt cut. Fold it (front on front), sew it, flip the piece and iron it.

Step 4: Fix the Rings and Attach the Buckle to the Belt.

Hem the edges of the belt and pass the rings through the hem.

Then fix the big charm to the belft with 2 junction rings. You need flat pliers to this step.

Step 5: Cut the Middle of the Belt and Hem Waistband Edges.

Cut the middle of the belt. The hem the edges of the belt and pass the rings through the hem like the step before .

Step 6: Fix the Carabiner and Tuning Chain

Fix the carabiner with a junction ring. Fix the tuning chain with a junction ring too. Cut the chain to the desired length (i chose 20cm). You need a cutting pliers.

Step 7: Fix the Charms

Cut the chain to the desired length (i chose 30cm). Fix the 5 charms to the décorative chain with the junction rings. You need flats pliers.

Step 8: Fix the Décorative Chain

Fix the décorative chain at the front of the belt (choose the side you want).

Step 9: Fix the Other Side of the Décorative Chain.

To this step you need a big needle pin. Make a hole where you want to fix the chain. (I made it at 15cm of the big charm in the front). When the hole is made, pass a ring through it. Before before closing the ring pass the decorative chain.
