Decorative Birds Hanging Made by Cardboard Sheet

hi everyone,

in project is totally made with stuffs which is available in my home. because, here it is a lockdown. so, i can't go out to purchase anything. hope you guys like this project. let me share the procedure to make this decorative birds hanging project.

Step 1: Components Required

as i mentioned earlier the major components of this project would be available in your home itself.

1. some cardboard sheet

2. scissors

3. pencil and ruler

4. woolen thread

5. color sketches

6. glue

7. water bottle cap

8. spring

9. empty ball point pen cartridge

10. needle

Step 2: Cutting Required Parts From Cardboard

take 10cm *5cm size cardboard, draw rough bird figure on it and cut the excess amount of cardboard.

take 26cm*5cm size cardboard, use that as base for the hanging.

take 4cm*3cm size cardboard, use that as ah bird holder.

Step 3: Coloring Bird Body and Wings

take the already cut bird shape cardboard and bird holding cardboard, color the bird as you wish.

i like parrot. so, i color my bird in green color and wings with multi color ( green, yellow and red).

Step 4: Fixing Bird and Wings Cardboard

take two holding cardboard and bird shaped cardboard. place the bird shaped cardboard between two holding cardboard and make hole at center of all the three cardboards. now take the required size old bald point pen cartridge, and insert that in the cardboard hole.

now your bird should be look as same as above pic.

do the same for another bird.

after this, place & glue the two birds in the base cardboard at equal distance and make a hole in the base cardboard where the bird tail would touch.

Step 5: Adding Woolen Thread and Springs With Bird

we will make this bird to act like a seesaw, we need to fix the woolen thread at the tail of the birds and the other end of two woolen thread inserted in side the bottle cap and knotted. the spring is placed between bird's peak and base cardboard.

when ever you pull the bottle cap gently, the bird will move like a seesaw.

i used some more thread to hang that in the wall.
