Step 1: Flour

The first step in this pie crust is 2 and a fourth cups of flour.

Step 2: Salt

The next ingredient you want to add is a teaspoon of salt. Mix the flour and salt together.

Step 3: Crisco

Next, cut in a cup of crisco using a pastry blender until it resembles coarse crumbs

Step 4: Water

Add 5 to 7 tablespoons of ice cold water to the mixture, 1 tablespoon at a time.

Step 5: Finish

After you have mixed the dough, divide it in half and roll each section into a half inch thick dough round. Wrap the dough rounds in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 15 minutes . The dough will look oily when you take it out. If it does not, it will be fine.

Step 6: Top Crust Glaze

When you have filled the pie, and placed the top crust on, you can make a glaze to go on top. Use a 1/4 cup of milk, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix well and use a cooking brush to spread it on. ( you can use a spoon also)
