Intro: Demonstrating the Fiber Optic Effect of Water

You need a clear container and a laser. Poke a small hole an inch from the bottom of container for the water to stream out of. Fill the container with water and cap it. Aim the laser through the container and out the hole and open the cap. Check out the cool effect in the video.

The water isn't completly fiber optic because the light is escaping, but still way cool!

this is interesting for practical purposes, seeing as a tube filled with a tiny bit of water, is far easier than making fiber optic strands...
