Derringer Holster

Intro: Derringer Holster

This is a pocket holster I made for my .380 derringer. The holster was hand stitched using a double stitch pattern.  It was made "hair out", so the leather will grip the inside of the pocket (rather than the gun) for an easier draw. After being assembled, I soaked my holster in warm water and wet-formed it over my ziploc wrapped derringer. For finishing touches, I trimmed off the excess leather and ran the edge on my belt sander to smooth it off.

Hi, nice instructable! How long did the wet molding process take and how many times did you need to wet it?

I left it in hot water for 10 minutes before molding it. Here is another instructable I did recently that covers the process in more detail
