Introduction: Dessert Spaghetti and Meatballs on a Fork

Dessert spaghetti and meatballs? On a fork? What? This recipe explains how to create what looks like normal spaghetti and meatballs, but is actually a concoction of sweet treats. Using some basic ingredients and supplies these scrumptious desserts will be sure to add fun to all occasions.

Ingredients:
  • 1 batch of brownies
  • a few cups of white buttercream frosting
  • 1 cup of strawberries, tops removed
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cocoa powder
  • yellow food coloring
  • powdered sugar, shredded coconut, or grated white chocolate
  • pastry bag with small round tip or plastic bag with one corner lopped off
  • forks
  • block of foam
  • basic kitchen utensils
Baking and Decorating:

First, form 1 1/4" balls out of the brownies. Remember that they don't have to be exactly round because they are mimicking a meat ball. Stick a fork halfway into the brownie balls. If the brownie is not secure on the fork, push the fork a little further into the brownie ball.
Next, mix into the frosting a few drops of food coloring and 1/4 teaspoon of cocoa powder. This will tint the frosting a pasta color. Spread a thin layer of frosting onto the fork. Next, pack the remaining frosting into a pastry bag or plastic bag and cut off one tip.
Squeeze the frosting onto the fork, making spaghetti like strands. There is really no way to do this step wrong. Also add a few strands onto the "meatball."
Puree the strawberries in a blender. With a spoon, drizzle a small amount of the pureed strawberries onto the top of the meatball. Lastly, top the dessert off with a sprinkle of powdered sugar, shredded coconut, or grated white chocolate.

With these spaghetti and meatball treats you can not only bake a tasty treat, but also a fun dessert for all occasions.

I don't know, but it could probably be done. Give it a try and see how it goes.
