Introduction: Diamonds and Bars
I love to crochet but do not enjoy assembling blocks or strips together. That is why I designed this afghan. The stitches and pattern make this heirloom quality.
It can also easily be made different sizes:
The pattern is written so that a diamond pattern can be added horizontally (simply repeat the 50-row pattern).
A column (whole diamond + half diamond) can be added or removed to make it larger vertically.
This is crocheted with Lion Brand Pound of Love, size J hook. It can be made with double or single crochet using the popcorn stitch for diamonds and FPdc for bars.

This is a great pattern--but somehow there aren't any written instructions for it and the video doesn't show anything on how to do it? Is there anything you can do about this?

Amazing job, the patterns look outstanding, 3 thumbs up! Wait up, I only have 2 hands. Well, 4 thumbs up, because I have two feet. Or maybe 16, I might be an alien.
