Introduction: Dirtiest Vodka Martini
Dirty martinis are one of my favorite Sunday night drinks. This is one variation of a classic cocktail that I came up with. I warn you, it's cold, salty and packs a wallop, so drinker beware.
Additionally, PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY!
Step 1: Ingredients
For this cocktail, you will need:
Vodka ( I prefer middle shelf, but you can use whatever kind you like)
Olive Juice
Dry Vermouth (Optional, personally, I don't use it.)
Step 2: Mix It Up
When I make mine, I like them strong so in your cocktail shaker combine:
Ice
3 oz. vodka
1 oz. olive juice
Shake briskly for at least 3 minutes.
Spear 2 olives and drop them in your glass. Pour and enjoy.
Optional, Prior to pouring , place a splash of vermouth into your glass, swirl and dump out.
I hope you enjoy this recipe, and once again, please drink responsibly!

I too love a dirty martini the dirtier the better! That being said I like to lightly crush a cpl of olives into the shaker also. Kind of like a mojito muttle.

I've found I definitely like a little vermouth, however if it's dirty and vodka I don't care either way. Not dirty or gin, and my palate wants the smidgen of vermouth. Excellent instructable BTW!

Nice! I am not that familiar with drinks, what makes this the dirtiest?

Adding olive juice makes a martini dirty. I call it the dirtiest because it has a lot of olive juice.
