- 3/8 Cornflour
- Pinch of cream of tartar

You might also need...
Step 2: Make the Sugar Syrup
Combine water, sugar and gelatin in a large microwave safe bowl. Mix lightly. Next microwave the mixture on high for 3:30 minutes. After microwaving it, stir it well till all the sugar is dissolved, then microwave it again till it starts boiling.
Step 3: Mix in Icing Sugar, Cornflour and Cream of Tartar
Combine icing sugar, cornflour and cream of tartar in a bowl. Stir it into the sugar syrup till it's thoroughly dissolved.
Note: You might need to use a beater to dissolve it completely.
Step 4: Microwave Mixture
After completing the previous step, microwave your mixture on high for about 3:00 minutes.
Note: Your mixture should be thick when you've done microwaving it.
Step 5: Blend in the Essence
After microwaving your mixture, blend in the lemon essence.
Note: You could also swap the lemon essence for rose water and add some pink food coloring.
Step 6: Refrigerate It
Pour mixture into a lightly oiled glass tray and spread evenly. Refrigerate till firm.
Step 7: Cut and Dust
You're almost there...
Cut it into cubes and dust it with some more icing sugar.
Step 8: Enjoy As a Treat, or Give As a Enchanting Gift.
Enjoy your divine Turkish delight either by eating it as a delicious treat, or by giving it as a marvelous gift!
