Do you have old light bulb and you dont know what to do with them ? I have the solution ! Today I will show you how to make an old style lamp.

Supplies

For this project you will need :

An old light bulb
The outline of a small broken 12 volt motor
A wooden board
Some wire
A DC jack connector

Step 1: Draw and Cut the L-shape of the Lamp

We need to cut the L-shape of the lamp.

Step 2: Drill the Hole for the Wires

Now we need to cut the hole for the wire of the light bulb.

Step 3: Solder the Wire to the Light Bulb

We need to solder the wires to the light bulb so we can make it work.

Step 4: Put the Light Bulb in the Motor

We need to put our light bulb in the broken motor. We also have to run the wires through the motor hole. Be careful not to touch the bulb contact with the motor because there could be a short circuit so you should put electrical tape on the bulb contact.

Step 5: Aim the Motor on the Lamp

Now we have to aim the motor on the lamp and we have to pass the wire trough the hole we made earlier.

Step 6: Draw and Cut the Base of the Lamp

Now we have to cut the base of the lamp.

Step 7: Finishing

Now we can attach the base to the rest of the lamp . And we can sand our lamp and attach the DC jack connector to the light bulb wire. You can now enjoy your diy lamp.
