Intro: Diy Sugarcube Igloo

This is a fun and easy winter activity to do at home or school!!

STEP 1: Starting Off

To start off you need a lot of sugar cubes, some white tissue paper, hot glue or liquid glue, and you will need a cardboard circle about 8-10 inches long

STEP 2: Base

Now for the base draw a circle in the middle of the cardboard circle. Around the drawn circle glue the sugar cubes.you may add an entrance to the igloo at the front if you like.

STEP 3: Moving On

As you go on stack the sugar cubes on top of each other and as you go higher move the ice cubes a little bit to the middle so it looks more like an igloo.

STEP 4: Igloo Done

Once your done stacking 3 rows wait until they are completely dry. Then keep going on with that pattern-three rows then dry- until you get to the point where you can't stack anymore sugar cubes. The. Let it dry completely before moving on to the next step

STEP 5: Tissue Paper

At this point you are ready to start adding the tissue paper around the igloo. Its supposed to look like snow.what you have to do is tear the white tissue paper in to small bits then crumple them up and glue them on to the cardboard. Keep doing this until your cardboard circle is full with tissue paper.

STEP 6: *optional*penguins

This step is optional you may make some mini penguins out of plasticine and put them around you igloo.

Those penguins are so adorable that they shouldn't be optional! It's a shame they're not edible, though. Fondant instead of plasticine next time? :D

Nicely done, it turned out very cute. However if you could use all original photos in the future it would be appreciated. Thanks for sharing!

MSS - you like to say that a lot. It's one thing to use others Instructables to self promote - it's another to nit-pick. It's rude. I'm sure many would appriciate your comments more if they were genuine and your self promotion via this method might get you farther if you use honey rather than the stinger.

After all MSS - Somewhere out there is a tree, tirelessly producing oxygen so you can breathe. I'm sure others as well as myself at this point think you owe it and several on this site an apology.

In the future please be nice, we'd all appreciate it.

Cute penguins. I made a sugar igloo too. They are so fun to make. I think your instructable is good. Looking forward to more. :-)
Yes, I did. They are very easy to make
This is my first instructable so please don't be rude. I understand that the instructions aren't very clear but I tried my best

I like it. Did you make the penguins too?
