Doctor Strange Movie Cosplay

A cheap, fast Doctor Strange cosplay that you can make with materials that you probably have at home. Because seriously, the Doctor Strange movie is 100% awesomeness.

Step 1: Reference Pictures

First of all, look at the pictures and try to find things that look similiar to what he is actually wearing.

Step 2: The Inner Blue Shirt

As you can see he has an inner dark blue shirt with blue long arms. This is what I found that was dark blue and had long arms, I would suggest that you try to find something without metal buttons, preferably a shirt.

Step 3: The Outer Blue Robe

For the outer robe i used towels.

To use towels, place the towels like in picture 7. Then attach towel 1 and towel 2 to your back with tape (like in picture 12). To hold the towels in their place, use multiple belts and tie them pretty tight around your chest/belly.

Step 4: The Cloak

The cloak of levitation is a must if you want to look like Doctor Strange. I made it with a red blanket, by folding it like in the pictures. When you are at step 8 I would recommend you tape it together with see-through tape or just sew it together. It doesn't look that much like the cloak, but if you tweak around with the folding and the attaching you can probably make it look more similar!

Step 5: Details and Summarization

To add some detail I printed out the Eye of Agamotto on paper, cut it out and taped it on a ring in a necklace. This was a very very quick made cosplay, and if you have time you can do much much better ones. But hey, it's something and I felt like sharing it to other persons who wants to do a quick doctor strange cosplay!
