Make a water dispenser free.

I decided to show you how to make a water dispenser, for your cat your dog or your pets.

Your pet always needs access to a water source.

This solution will allow you to build a reserve.

Step 1: Construction Materials

To make this water dispenser you will need :

  • bottle of soda
  • can of 5 liter
  • cutter
  • scissors
  • a drill with a small forest
  • A bi-component resin

Step 2: Make the Bowl

The first thing to do and take the 5 liter can and cut down on the line.

We will initially perform this operation in large coupling with the cutter above the line.

Then we cut on the line with a pair of scissors.

Step 3: Preparing the Bottle and Reservoir

We will then remove the label from the bottle and the safety clip.

Place the cap in the tank and with a marker trace the location of the cap.

As this material is very smooth we will striped with a drill.

We will do the same with the top of the cap.

Step 4: Glue the Cap

The best bi-component glue used in boats is made with fiberglass, it sticks virtually all materials.

So mix the two components and place this glue on the stopper, position the cap to stick on the tank.

This step is the most important step in making a solid base with.

Allow total drying before adding water

Step 5: ​Drill the Bottle

Drill the bottle at the level of the cap.

You can make several holes above the cap.
But a hole will have to be higher than the others if not the water will not flow (look at the picture to better understand)

Step 6: Water Dispenser Finished

Here your water dispenser for your pets is finished.

Fill the water bottle and place the tank head down, screw in, and turn over. If you use a small 0.5 liter bottle, the dispenser will be more resistant.

You can then add water quickly before the bottle is empty, so keep another bottle of water at poximité (see video). But you can also use bottles of larger capacity.
