Dog Collar

Introduction: Dog Collar

About: Ride quads and pit bikes play football like metal working and blacksmithing

In this instructable I will show you how to make a paracord dog collar. I hope you enjoy it!

Step 1: Gather Supplies

You'll need:
One or two colors of paracord
A lighter
Tape measure
Dog tags with key ring
A d-ring
Plastic buckle

Step 2: Getting Started

Measure out how much paracord you'll need. It's basically one foot for every inch.
Then melt one end of the cords.
Next you need to melt the other ends together.

Step 3: Almost There!

Now you want to get your buckle and un buckle it.
Your gonna take the flat end of the buckle and string the cord through the top of the buckle.
Now your going to pull the cord through till you get to the middle.
Now you have a loop that your gonna put the cord through and pull tight.

Step 4: Home Stretch

Take the other end of the buckle and string the cord through the bottom.
Now you want to measure that its the right length.

Step 5: Tying the Knots

I can't really explain how to tie the knots so just look at the photos

Step 6: Next Set of Knots

So this is a king cobra. It's the same knot it's just over the first set of knots.

So just measure out how much paracord you had at first.
Now melt all the ends together.

Step 7: Adding the Dog Tags

As you continue it'll start to look like this.

This can also be a bracelet you just don't need the d-ring.

Step 8: All Done

Thank you for reading this and I hope it was helpful and that you enjoyed it and please vote on it!
