Introduction: Dog Soap
Is your dog smelly, stinky and in need of a good wash? Well, I have just the thing – home made dog soap!
Step 1: What You Need
110grams of melt and pour glycerin soap base (clear or white)
1 tablespoon of castor oil
1/8 teaspoon of vitamin E oil
1/4 teaspoon of liquid glycerin
10 drops of peppermint essential oil
10 drops tea tree essential oil
Some moulds like an ice cube tray, small cake moulds or jelly moulds
Non toxic soap dye or food colouring

Step 2: What to Do
Put the glycerin soap base into a microwave safe container and heat until just melted. Be careful not to boil it.
Add the castor oil, vitamin E oil, liquid glycerin, peppermint oil and tea tree oil to the melted soap base and give the mixture a good stir.
Next add in the colouring and stir.
Pour your soap mixture into the mould/s and allow it to set. This shouldn’t take too long. It will feel firm to the touch.

Step 3: Done!
Now you’re ready to try out your hand made soap on your pooch! Remember not to wash your dog too often, as it will dry out it’s skin and make sure you rinse the soap off thoroughly
