Intro: Dog/Cat Paw Crayon

This tutorial will show you how to create a fun dog or cat that is quick and easy to make. This is a craft for kids, or any age!. Enjoy

STEP 1: Create Clay Mold

I created this mold of a dog paw by printing out a photo from online. Then I flattened out a sheet of clay and put the paper on it. Use a toothpick to poke holes around the edges of the dog paw drawing. Remove and cut out the shape. Make sides taller.

STEP 2: Peel Crayons

Gather the crayons that you need and peel paper.

STEP 3: Melt Crayons

Now you will want to melt the crayons. I am using this wax melter, but you can use a stove. Heat and stir until fully melted.

STEP 4: Pour Wax

Pour wax carefully into the mold. Let dry.

STEP 5: Dry & Peel

Once the crayon is dried, proceed to peel the clay. It is now complete. Enjoy drawing with it!
