Introduction: Double Dutch Braids #HMS2018

Today, I am going to show you how to do double dutch braids!

Materials:

  • brush
  • comb
  • 2 hair ties
  • your hands
  • hair ( your hair or someone else's)
  • gel ( optional)

Step 1: Brush the Hair

Step 2: Part the Hair With Your Comb

make sure you part the hair all the way down

Step 3: Separate Hair So Its Out of Your Way When You Start to Braid

Step 4: The Start of the Braid

Separate a chunk of hair into 3 parts

*optional* put gel where you are going to start braiding and along the part to have the flyaway's stick down.

Step 5: Bring the Rightmost Piece Underneath the Middle Piece

Step 6: Next, Grab the Leftmost Piece and Put It Underneath the Middle Piece

Step 7: Next, Move the Leftmost Piece to the Right Side

Step 8: Before You Put That Strand Underneath, You Are Going to Grab a Piece of Hair and Add It Into Your Strand Then Put That Piece Underneath

Step 9: Now You're Going to Grab Another Section of Hair and Add It to the Leftmost Strand Then Put That Piece Underneath

I like to pull slightly to make the braid more tight.

Step 10: Keep Grabbing Pieces of the Hair and Adding It to the Chunks Until You Reach the Bottom.

Step 11: Do a Simple Braid Until You Finish at the Length That You Want. Use a Hair-tie to Tie the Braid

Step 12: Repeat Steps 1-11 on the Other Side and Then You're Done!
