with an old ceiling fan blade,a softball and a old 4x4 left over from a garden project

Step 1:

I used a 4x4 piece of wood cut to 30 inches, old fan blades that measure 17 inches, and a old softball that I drilled a hole into and placed a metal rod to secure it to the 4x4

Step 2:

paint all your parts the color of your choice, I started with a base color yellow and added purple highlights, assemble your parts with at least 1 1/2 inch screws

Step 3:

Paint Inspirational words on the wings, I used a black paint pen with a wide tip. I hung the dragonfly with a eye hook placed more to one side so it did not hang straight (I like the way it sits sideways)
