Intro: Dragon's Teeth Paracord Bracelet

Hey everybody, today I will show you how to make the Dragon's teeth paracord bracelet

STEP 1: Gather Materials

For this instructable, you will need:
-paracord
-buckle
-scissors
-lighter
-needle nosed pliers
-jig (optional)

STEP 2: Creating the Setup

Alright, first we need to make a four strands cow hitch setup.

Step 1: Find the middle of the length of cord then fold it in half and make a loop
Step 2: Pull it through the buckle
Step 3: The loop will be the length of your bracelet, don't worry if it seems big, because the weave is pretty thick
Step 4: Take the right cord and bring it under and out the loop
Step 5: Loop it around and push it upwards from under the buckle
Step 6: Push the cord down through the small loop
Step 7: Tighten
Step 8: Repeat steps 4 through 6 for the other side

Step 9: Turn the bracelet 180°
Step 10: Bring the right cord down them upwards through the loop
Step 11: Bring the cord around and push it upwards from under the buckle then push it down into the small loop and tighten
Step 12: Repeat steps 10 and 11 for the opposite side

STEP 3: Making the Bracelet

Alright, you are ready to start making the bracelet.

Step 1: Push the opposite color cord under-over-over-under the core strands
Step 2: Make a loop with the right cord through the middle and out
Step 3: Make a loop with the left cord through the middle and out
Step 4: Pull the opposite color strand under three of the core strands then over the last one
Step 5: Bring the opposite color strand back around over the two middle core strands and under the leftmost core stand
Step 6: Repeat steps 2 through 5 until you reach the bottom of the bracelet

Step 7: Take one outer working strand and wrap it twice around the core strands
Step 8: Pull it down under two rows, cut and melt
Step 9: Cut both ends of the middle working cord (in this case the blue cord) and melt the ends

STEP 4: Finished!

Congratulations! You made the Dragon's teeth paracord bracelet. I hope that you enjoyed my instructable, and I hope that you will vote for me in the Outside contest!

It would be nice to know the required length of both colours.
And the starting distance between the two parts of the buckle to reach a given circumference. Thank you in advance.

That is really cool my brother makes them.

What is the finished length of a bracelet made with the 10-12 feet of cord that you recommended in the comments? I'm looking for a ratio as I want to use this pattern for a dog collar.

Thanks for posting this weave, it's super neat. :)

How much paracord of each color do you need?

I would start with around 10-12 feet, just to make sure that you have enough cord in case you need to make adjustments.

What size buckle did you use?

I used a regular 5/8 buckle for this design.
