Introduction: Dremmel Carved Pumpkin
I decided to have a little fun tonight while carving pumpkins with the kiddos. I've seen people do the vampire teeth in the pumpkin and I've seen the fancy sculpting of the pumpkin. I thought I'd combine the two.
Step 1: Materials
YOU WILL NEED:
smaller pumpkin
vampire teeth
dremmel
safety glasses
Step 2: Design Pumpkin
I made sure the mouth was the right size for the teeth and then did a basic drawing.
Step 3: Bust Out the Dremmel & Start Carving
I just started having fun with the dremmel. This is where it was really important to have the safety glasses. I built up a pretty good layer of pumpkin dust on my face. I jade to keep wiping off my glasses.
Step 4: Light the Pumpkin
Put a candle in and see how it glows.

Why do so many people add an extra M to Dremel?

Your pumpkin came out looking cool though.

Very nicely done! I carved a pumpkin with my dremel last year, and I looked just like you! Sticky bits of orange all over me.
What kind of bits have you been using? Anything proved especially useful (or not?)

sorry, accidently replied as a comment rather than to you.

How did your dremmel tool look after this? Was it as covered as your face? I'd like to give it a try, but my dremmel tool is pretty new and I'd hate to gunk it up too bad!

No. There was some dust on it, and easily brushed off. I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Thanks. It was a lot of fun. I just used a round ripper. I used an old one too since I didn't want to spoil my newer, sharper ones.
