Introduction: Dress/ Skirt/ Cape/ Nursing Cover
An easy, simple an convertible piece of fabric that works wonder.
Head down to your favourite local fabric store and pick your fabric print and starts sewing. ?
Step 1: Fabric
Get 4 way stretch fabric. I'm using Lycra.
Step 2: Sewing Instructions
I've got the sewing instructions on a diagram.
Fabric of 60cm by 70cm.
Fold half on 70cm, right sides facing. Sew on both sides, using a serger or zig zag stitch on a regular sewing machine.
Measure your shoulder and minus 8 to 10 cm ( depending on your preference), this is the width that you DO NOT sew. Sew on the lengthwise on both wrong sides, leaving the width un-sew.
Step 3: Edges
Use a serger or zig zag stitch on regular sewing machine, around the raw edges of the fabric.
Your new convertible dress/skirt/cape/ nursing cover is done in under 15 mins. ?
