Introduction: Duct Tape Guitar Strap
In this Instructable I will show you how to make a cool unique guitar strap out of a roll of duct tape, and it olny takes 15 min.
Step 1: Supplies
For this Instructable you will need the following supplies:
Ruler
1 role of Duct tape
Exact-o-knife
Step 2: Make the Strap
The first thing you will want to do is deside how big you want the strap to be and what color you want it to be . How I did this is by taking my real guitar strap and adjusting it to the length I want, and then use it as a model for the duct tape strap. Once i desided what color I wanted and how big I wanted the strap to be i taped a strip of ducttape to the table stiky side up then placed another strip to that strip of duct tape. In total I put about 2 more strips of tape on the other two, making a strong, smooth strap of tape.
Step 3: Making the Hole
Now all you need to do is make a hole on the strap for your guitar. To do this I used a drill bit and a drill press but you could use a small knife or something. First I found a drill bit that was as big as the hole in my normal guitar strap. Once I found the right side I placed it in the drill press and drilled a hole in the center of the end of the strap.
After making a hole in both sides of the strap I cut a line about one centimeter long from the hole in the oposite direction(look at pic. 2).
Step 4: Your Done!!!
Your are done now all you need is a guitar!
