I hope you enjoy this Instructable on how to make a duct tape flower ring! I love how these rings are completely customizable and can be made in just over 30 minutes! These rings are perfect for gifts for your friends and family!

Step 1: Supplies

- Red, orange, yellow, blue, and purple duct tape

- Elastic or a ring base

- Hot glue gun with glue

-X-acto knife

- ruler

- cutting mat

- Bedazzler gems (optional)

Step 2: The Base

I stated off by making a base for the pedals to be attached to. I did this by rolling 2 2inch strips of duct tape into a cylinder shape.

Step 3: Making the Pedals

Next, I cut all six duct tapes into 2 inch strips. I then cut 1/2 inch squares from the strips. If you want to make a larger flower, make the squares bigger. When folding the squares, take the upper left corner and fold it inward leaving a backward L of the sticky tape. Then, fold the other corner in creating a triangle. In total, I used 7 of each color.

Step 4: Making the Flower

When making the flower, you want to arrange the pedals in the order you want around the base. When doing this, I recommend adding the pedals across form each other (look at the pictures). Once you have done that, add the next red pedal half way between the red and orange. Continue doing this with the other color until you have the size of the flower you want.

Step 5:

Once you have finished the flower, cut off the stem and add the bedazzler bead.

Step 6: Attaching the Flower

I started off by cutting a small piece elastic and glueing it together to create a ring base. I then put a small amount of hot glue on the elastic and placed the flower on it. To finish the ring, I cut a small strip of duct tape and placed it over the extra glue.
