This is my first DIY.An easy desktop fan made with the SMPS of a PC.

STEP 1: REQUIREMENTS
1. Two 12v DC brushless fans.
2. A SMPS case (It is easily available in computer repair shops)
3.A switch and some wires
4.Heat sink (a processor's heat sink is enough)

STEP 2: PUTTING ALL TOGHETHER
1.Fix one fan to the air exhaust outlet of the SMPS
2.Fix the other fan to the opposite side of outlet with screws. BE SURE THAT THE FAN IS FIXED SUCH THAT IT'S AIRFLOW IS TOWARDS THE OTHER FAN.
NOTE: If nessary attach a heat sink to the backside of inlet fan and place an ice pack near it to have a cooler air.
3.Connect the wires of two fans in parallel combination and attach a switch for the inlet fan.
4.Extend the connection wire to the outside
5.Close the case and tight it with screws
6.Connect this wire to a 12v DC power adapter.Toggle the switch on.Home made desktop fan is ready to GO!!!!.

When I made it I had insulated all the bare wires and I removed the insulation to make the viewer more clear.
I kept the IEC 230 V socket to make it look like a real SMPS.
