Intro: EASY YUMMY CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE PIE

I have made this quick pie for last minute guests but it does take at least four hours in the refrigerator to set. It is simply delicious but more so - very quick to make and I usually have these ingredients quick on hand. Most people love chocolate like me and believe me will ask for this recipe after taking the first bite!

STEP 1: INGREDIENTS

2 packages chocolate Jell-O puddings 3.9 oz
1 8 oz package cream cheese
1 tub Cool Whip
1 graham cracker crust
1 ½ cups milk
¼ cup sugar
Optional: pecans and chocolate chips for garnish

STEP 2: VERY SIMPLE

Add 1 1/2 cups milk and the Jello pudding mix and stir for one minute

STEP 3: Add Softend Cream Cheese

and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Beat until mixed thoroughly.

STEP 4: Add 1/2 Tub of Cool Whip

and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar into the chocolate pudding cream cheese mixture.

STEP 5: Finishing Touches

Spread the chocolate mixture in the graham cracker crust.  I drop tablespoons of cool whip over the mixture. I melt 1/4 cup chocolate chips and drip over the pie and top off with chopped up pecans. Cool in refrigerator until set at least four hours-enjoy!

very nice tutorial. very well done. and I love the recipe, thank you

the only thing im not putting on here is pecans.

Good with or without nuts

You could swap chocolate pudding for any Jello flavor and personalize to someone's favorite. I'm thinking pistachio....but I will probably make the chocolate FIRST, lol!!

I was just thinking of the pistachio pudding yesterday-great idea and walnuts for the topping with chocolate-awesome!

you americans with your nasty tubses, cupses, ozses and ounceses... really should cinsider going to the metric system;)

I think Americans are going to metric only if you are an Auto Mechanic not in the kitchen yet!

I think I just gained 20 kilo's by just looking at it. Wow.

It is high in calories I am sure but it is light too!

Thanks and it tastes great!

Yum Chocolate! That sounds like the best pie! I just love cool whip :)

And if you want more flavor and more calories too substitute real whip cream for cool whip!
