Easy Banana Bread
Intro: Easy Banana Bread
I love to bake quick breads on the weekends. Not only does it fill the whole house with a warming aroma of sweetness, it only takes 10 minutes to throw together and makes breakfast quick and easy on busy weekday mornings. This is a very simple and easy banana bread that the whole family will love!
Serve warm with butter or try it toasted!
STEP 1: Banana Bread Recipe
Banana Bread
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of salt
1/2 cup olive oil
2 eggs
2 very ripe bananas
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter and flour a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl combine flour, syrup, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. In a separate bowl whisk olive oil, eggs, bananas and vanilla until well combined.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
STEP 2: How to Bake Banana Bread
Pour batter into your prepared loaf pan.
Bake 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
Slice, serve, eat and enjoy!

Mm, love banana bread. Just made some this weekend :) Don't think I've ever had it with maple syrup and cinnamon in it. That sounds pretty tasty!

A perfect idea for breakfast! My two favorite in one, bananas and bread. I'll try this out tomorrow morning and I'm going to put some twist in them too.
