Introduction: Easy, Basic, and Colorful Kool-Aid Ice Cream

The most basic way of making Ice Cream of any color using a Kool-Aid packet.

Step 1: Ingredients

Ingredients:

1 Packet 0.14-0.16 oz unsweetened kool-aid, any flavor/color

1 Cup granulated sugar

1 Pint whole or 2% milk

1 Cup half & half

Step 2: Mixing

1. Mix the packet of unsweetened Kool-Aid mix together with the granulated sugar.

2. Add the milk, half & half, and mix until fully dissolved.

3. Pour mixture into a shallow freezer container.

Step 3: Thickining

Freeze for 1 - 2 hours until it has slightly thickened.

Step 4: Fluffing

Transfer mixture to a bowl and beat until smooth with a wired whisk or equivalent. This is like making whipped cream.

Step 5: Finishing

Return to freezer, cover, and freeze 8 hours or over night.

Step 6: Eating

Remove 30 minutes before serving to soften slightly.

Makes 3 cups of delicious colorful ice cream!
