Introduction: Easy Breakfast Pizza
This instructable will show you how to make a quick, easy, and delicious breakfast pizza that can be customized to your liking! I hope you enjoy!
- Flatbread such as pita bread or naan
- Olive oil
- 2 eggs
- Shredded cheese (i used a mixture of cheddar and mozzarella)
- Breakfast sausage (turkey, pork, or plant-based)
- Onion, mushrooms, red bell pepper, jalapenos (diced)
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Gather your supplies (as previously listed) to assemble this delicious pizza. For the "dough" I used Stonefire whole grain naan. You could use any type of flatbread such as pita bread too. For the veggies, I used sweet onion, red bell pepper, mushrooms, and jalapeno (all diced). For the two eggs, put them in a bowl and whisk. For the protein, you could use any type of breakfast sausage, but I decided to use Gardein meat-free breakfast saus'age patties.
Step 2: Cook Your Eggs, Veggies, and Protein
Heat olive oil in a pan on medium heat. Add your whisked eggs, scramble then remove from the pan. Add your diced veggies and cook them until they begin to change color and start to brown. Then, add your protein or breakfast sausage and cook until golden brown. Remove from heat.
Step 3: Assemble Your Eggs, Veggies, Protein, and Shredded Cheese on Your Flatbread
Take your flatbread and add your scrambled eggs, veggies, and protein. I cut my sausage patties into smaller pieces so they could mix in among the veggies. Then sprinkle some shredded cheese over the top. After, place your assembled pizza in an oven (or toaster oven) directly on the rack at about 400F to 425F for about 10 minutes or until the top of the pizza starts to become golden brown.
Step 4: Enjoy Your Breakfast Pizza!
After cooking, remove from the oven and enjoy your breakfast pizza! Thank you for viewing.
