Everyone knows Eminem. A man with a rough past that worked his way up to a world famous rapper, and who is now part of a new rap duo, Bad Meets Evil. This instructable shows you how to play a few of his easy songs on guitar. These include "Still Don't Give a -F***" - "Till I Collapse" - "No Apologies" - "Halies Song" and more. With a few of these songs, you might want to listen to the song as you try to play it, so you understand how it sounds. All of the songs shown here are shown in tableture (tab.) Just as a reminder:

Step 1: Info on Eminem

Eminem was born Marshall Bruce Mathers III. His father left his mother when he was very young (just a baby) and his mom was a drug addict. He dropped out of school at a young age, and fell back onto rapping. He met his future wife Kim when he was around 17. His daughter Halie was born in 1995. He went and found Dr. Dre, and he helped Eminem start his career as a professional rapper. His Albums "Relapse" and "Relapse: Refill" are both about his addiction with prescription medication. Eminem is possibly one of the most contreversial rappers there is, because his ongs go places where none have gone before. His alter ego "Slim Shady" is who can rap about anything he wants. These songs include "My Name Is" - "F.A.C.K." and "Just lose it." Many people are quick to judge him because of these songs, but also because he is a white rapper. Most people don't take the time to find songs like "Halies Song" - "Mockingbird" and "When Im Gone." Eminem is now clean, and his latest (Not counting "Bad Meets Evil") album "Recovery" looks back at his difficult times. Now, he is working with rappers such as lil' Wayne, Royce da 5'9", and T.I. Step 2: Till' I Collapse

This song is extremely easy to play. The intro and the rest of the song are almost identical, except the into has three extra notes at the end of it. Play the intro (below) once, then repeat over and over, leavng out the last three notes.

This is a song about the war in Iraq and it came on Eminem's cd "Encore". Good song. Just repeat over and over.

Step 5: Stan

This is a song about a fan who is obsessed with Eminem. It is quite grisly in the end, but it is a great song.

Step 6: No Apologies

This song was actually released on and album called "Eminem Presents the Re-up" and it is a cool song. Quite depressing though.... just play over and over. You should listen to this song as you learn to play it, because it makes no sense otherwise.

Step 7: Still Don't Give a F***

Im pretty sure this song has the same music as one of Eminem's other songs, "Marshall Mathers" but im not sure. This song is pretty hardcore (lyrics-wise), and not for childrens ears. There is a reason why they put on a "Parental Advisory" sticker. Again, just play it over and over. This sounds especially good with an acoustic guitar.

Step 8: Lose Yourself

This song was featured in Eminem's movie "8 Mile." It can be found in the cd "Curtain Call, the Hits" and the soundtrack for "8 Mile." It is debatedly one of Eminems greatest songs.
